Unleash Your Truth, Share Your Journey

Welcome to “Cast Out”, a powerful and intimate story slam series designed exclusively for LGBTQIA+ students in Orange County. Here, your stories take center stage—raw, authentic, and unfiltered. Let’s dive into what makes “Cast Out” a transformative experience:

What Is a Story Slam?

A story slam is more than mere storytelling; it’s a soul-baring revelation. Picture a dimly lit room, an eager audience, and a spotlight illuminating the stage. As you step forward, your heart races. In just a few minutes, you’ll share a piece of your life—a memory, a struggle, a triumph. The mic crackles to life, and your voice becomes a beacon of connection. That’s a story slam.

Why “Cast Out”?

  • Authenticity: We believe that our stories hold immense power. By sharing them, we cast out fear, shame, and isolation.

  • Community: “Cast Out” is a safe haven—a place where queer students find solace in shared experiences.

  • Expression: Our stories become a method of solemn expression, a way to honor our journeys.
